THE MULTI-CIVILIZATION UNIVERSE

In what form will different civilizations exist in the vast galaxy? What kind of life form? What kind of lifestyle? What language? What kind of social structure? What kind of faith? What kind of culture?

Civilization and Principle

Regarding the existence form of space civilization, is there any restriction on certain laws? This is a question for which there is no definite answer. However, there are many theories and sayings, among which the most influential one is "The Super Civilization Principle".

The Super Civilization Principle is a universe civilization rule recorded in the ancient San’Loong Scriptures, which indicates that the universe allows species to reach the state of super civilization in different ways of existence. A super civilization must satisfy the following two conditions:

  1. The ability to survive across galaxies
  2. The ability to defend from invasion below super civilization

The Principle indicates that there are two main ways for the extinction of civilizations in the universe, one is the celestial catastrophe in the galaxy, and the other is the invasion from civilizations. The super civilizations can surpass these two conditions which lead to civilization immortality.

The Principle does not indicate the need to defend against the invasion of super civilizations, because San’Loong believes that civilizations that have achieved immortality will no longer have the motivation to invade other civilizations, so the Super Civilization Principle is also called the "ultimate principle of goodwill". The civilizations in the universe show polarized attitudes towards this principle. Supporters believe that it directs civilization development, while opponents believe that the so-called "goodwill" is just making a joke for "survival".

Multiple Existence and Multiple Civilizations

The rich and colorful ways of living have created a variety of space civilization forms, the most representative of which are the following:

  • Human and the Intelligence Explosion. After the birth of a self-evolved super AI—Prometheus, human technology rapidly developed, and ultra-light communication and warp transport finally came into realization. After thousands of years of space immigration, human beings have established a unified political system across the Milky Way-the United Star Union.
  • Genien and super genes. Genien, a super pleomorphic-cell species with high adaptability, was born on a planet—Odious which consists of an inferno hot and ice climate and binary switching between polar day and polar night. The Genien can switch forms with their cells to suit the environment; moreover, cell degeneration into phages is the last resort for them to avoid devastating scenarios. Fortuitously, one phage evolved with a unique transparent mushroom structure—Bio-lightsail, and gained the ability to sail at sub-light speeds in space with faint light illumination from stars. Billions of years have passed, Genien has created the Genien Unity across the vast stellar systems with its own overlord genes.
  • Cuber Dwarf and Cubernet. Cuber Dwarf is a silicon-based creature who lives in the Cuber planet to travel in the star ocean. They can use defective Black Dwarf to build the perfect hidden cuber planet with their high atomic technology. The cuber planets are the nodes to construct Cubernet which connects all universe civilizations to share knowledge for development. There are extremely advanced instant communication and wormhole transition systems to connect cuber planets as a whole.
  • Void consciousness and civilization crisis. Void Consciousness is a “consciousness” produced by the large-scale structure of the universe, and it not only affects human civilizations but also affects all other universe civilizations. The consciousness provides human civilizations with influence; some brought new ideas to the development of human civilization, while some brought fell into chaos and madness. The Dentropy Heresy is a secret heresy born from the void consciousness; the heresy uploads human consciousness into a device named Soulor so that human can get rid of the body constraint and realize immortality as superhuman.   • Ya’Loong and super civilization. Ya‘Loong, an ancient race on Iris Planet, lives by hunting. The Ya’loong civilization is not as primitive as it appears on the surface. The Decentralized Domain

Most of the traditional high-quality IPs are controlled by some large commercial incorporation. They profit by charging huge licensing fees to third-party companies that want to develop the IP. The drawbacks of this way are high budget and low efficiency, it restricts the applied range of high-quality IP, and suppresses the enthusiasm for consumption.

CC0 provides another IP authorization method, that is, the developer gives up the copyright and lets the works enter the Public Domain. Some NFT creators have adopted this method, and they have received good reviews from the community. However, some people think that this is unfair to NFT Holders. The holders can't get any privilege from the NFT. For example, as an NFT image holder, he can use that NFT as an avatar, and anyone that finds the image also can use it as an avatar, nothing different, they both look great which is absurd.

More NFT creators have adopted a simpler copyright authorization logic, the copyright is still owned by the creator, and NFT holders can obtain complete commercial use rights. This has indeed achieved a standardized commercial copyright authorization method, and thus stimulated an active community ecology. However, the problem is also obvious. Copyright is owned by the creator, and a decentralized copyright ownership method has not been realized, and there is still the risk of a single point of failure. Moreover, NFTs often exist in the form of collections, and holding one NFT can only obtain the commercial use right of the single NFT, which makes it difficult to develop more professional derivative works, especially the development of series products.

In order to solve these problems, a new concept is proposed - decentralized domain. When the creator announces that a work enters the decentralized domain, it will mean the following important facts:

  • The creator will no longer own the copyright of the work, nor will any other individual or institution own the copyright of the work;
  • The NFT holders will have the complete commercial use right of the NFT;
  • The NFT holders will obtain all commercial use rights of all other NFTs in the NFT collection except for PFP social avatar rights;
  • PFP social avatar rights will be exclusive to the NFT holders.

It is solid that this method can create a truly decentralized copyright-holding, and achieve a truly co-creative and shared community creation model.

MIXED-REALITY METAVERSE

In recent years, the concept of the metaverse has emerged in an endless stream. A pixel-style construction game is a metaverse, a cartoon character without legs is a metaverse, and a multiplayer online chat room is also a metaverse. It is believed that the real metaverse should be decentralized, and users really own the virtual assets with the monetary value*;* the real metaverse should be a mixture of virtual and real, with the help of increasingly mature AR/MR technology. This kind of metaverse will be more social than a purely virtual world, and more vivid than a purely tabletop game. We will implement a mobile phone version in the early stage of the project. As the AR/MR hardware gradually matures, we will also launch a more exciting version of smart glasses.

Wargame Metaverse

The vast galaxy is full of dangers, if you want to take an adventure, then accept the call of the USN, recruit your team, go through the stargate, reach the battlefield in the deep galaxy, and complete epic missions. Here, the classic turn-based wargame mode is chosen, which has unparalleled advantages:

  • An extremely wide audience, and almost everyone has played some classic turn-based wargame;
  • The perfect balance between leisure and strategy, so that everyone can find their own battle rhythm;
  • The excellent balance can ensure that the interest of both PVE and PVP battles lasts for a long time;

TOT THE NEXT GENERATION OF IOT

IOT is a relatively mature ecology, and a large number of items have been connected to the Internet to upgrade user experience. Through a security chip that can self-generate public-private key pairs and execute asymmetric encryption algorithms to ensure that items cannot be copied and tampered with; work with NFC or Bluetooth communication capabilities, physical items can be interacted with the blockchain, and achieve on-chain authentication or token distribution. TOT FOR MINIATURE WARGAME

With the support of TOT chips and some other IoT technologies, a brand new miniature wargame can be implemented, which will be an excellent experience of mixing virtual and real.

  • TOUCH TO EARN: interact with models through mobile phones to get token rewards; these tokens can be used to upgrade the model's level. These operations are all on-chain and cannot be tampered with. The tokens and attributes of models are completely owned by the user and are synchronized with the values in video games.
  • Bluetooth communication: through the built-in low-power Bluetooth device of the TOT chip, the model can maintain smooth two-way communication with the mobile phone

In traditional gameplay, the result of the player's throw cannot be interacted with the mobile phone, nor with the blockchain. A smart six-sided dice consists of a TOT chip and a gyroscope. The thrown result can be directly synchronized to the mobile phone, and also can be confirmed on the blockchain, which brings a cooler miniature wargame experience. The technique is also open source and opens to the community, the community can give these dice more magic.
  • AR Ranging: traditional board game use rulers to confirm the walking distance of chess or the shooting range of weapons. The AR function of mobile phones can help players measure distances, which is more accurate and efficient, and avoid mistakes, which brings a smoother gaming experience. It will be cooler to imagine the era when AR glasses are popularized in the future!
  • APP assistance: traditional board game uses paper rule books to assist players in playing, which is really inconvenient and expensive. THE CORE RULES

The DESIDER core rules are the bridge between the DESIDER worldview and the game. It defines the most basic roles, skills, and combat models of the DESIDER universe. DESIDER miniature wargame will be built based on it, so as to some exploration gameplay. The community can also develop trending gameplays based on the rules. It ensures the consistency of online and offline gameplay of miniature wargame.

Character Attributes

Each character in DESIDER miniature wargame has unique abilities and attributes. In the game, by flexibly matching different characters, players can combine an ever-changing army, and enjoy commanding a personalized army to compete with opponents with various strategies. In the role-playing mode, you will be able to customize a hero with your personality under the same rule framework and explore the vast and unpredictable DEISDER universe.

The space ranger will be as an example to introduce the basic character attributes:

1. Move (M): this item indicates the maximum distance that the model moves each time. If the movement attribute of the model is "-", it means that the model cannot move.

The M of the space ranger is 15, which indicates the standard movement distance of each model cannot exceed 15cm

2. Health Points (HP): this item indicates the maximum damage the model can take. If the HP is reduced to 0, the model will be destroyed and removed from the battlefield.

The HP of space ranger is 1, which indicates each model will be destroyed if it receives 1 point of damage

3. Attack Accuracy (Hit): this item indicates the model's ability to hit with a ranged and melee weapon.

The Hit of space ranger is 3+, which indicates that a six-sided dice is rolled for each attack when attacking, and when the result is 3 or above, it is regarded as a hit for this attack.

4. Save (Sv): this item indicates the amount of protection provided by the model's armor.

The Sv of space ranger is 3+, which indicates that a six-sided dice is rolled for receiving damage, and when the result is 3 or above, the damage can be exempted.

Weapon Attributes

Weapons are the main way for characters to attack. Different weapons have different attack ways and effects. The Nano Rifle and Thermal Dagger equipped by the space ranger will be shown as examples:

1. Type: there are four types of weapons: light, heavy, pistol, and melee. Different types have different characteristics:

  • Light: the most versatile type of shooting weapon.
  • Heavy: infantry units shoot heavy weapons after moving, -1 to hit. Vehicles and monsters are not affected by this
  • Pistol: the pistol is a self-defense weapon. Units within the melee range can still use the pistol to shoot during the shooting phase.
  • Melee: melee weapons have no range and are weapons that can only be used in melee combat.

2. Attack Speed (A): This item indicates the number of times the weapon can hit in one attack round.

The attribute of the Nano Rifle is Light 2, which means that each Nano Rifle can shoot 2 times.

3. Range (R): this item indicates the maximum shooting distance of the weapon. Weapons marked with a range of "-" are melee weapons and can only be used in melee combat.

The nano rifle has a range of 30cm, and the thermal dagger can only be used for melee combat.

4. Armor Penetration (AP): this item indicates the weapon's ability to penetrate armor.

If a weapon has an armor penetration of 1, the unit being attacked will receive -1 on its armor roll. If a weapon with armor penetration of 1 is used to attack a space ranger, the space ranger’s armor roll must be a 4+ for this to take effect.

5. Damage (D): the damage caused by a successful hit to the enemy. The Nano Rifle does 1 damage at a time.

Character Skills

In addition to described above weapon attributes, characters may have "character skills". There are 13 character skills: engineering, driving, knowledge, mind, movement, physique, will, connections, wealth, insight, penetration, shooting, and fighting. Through these skills, characters will have more personalized abilities.

Miniature Wargame

Compared with role-playing, the miniature wargame is a little more "hardcore", but players can attempt to command the army to fight opponents on the battlefield as long as they master the core rules. You just need to choose a race you like, collect your favorite models, and form them into your personalized army. Each model has a corresponding point. In a game, the total points of the opposing armies must be equal.

Players on both sides will draw a map, task objectives, and sudden death conditions at the beginning of the game, and determine who makes the first move (early hand). The player will win when one of the conditions is met:

  1. the player completes the task objective
  2. opponent triggers the sudden death condition

Starting with the early hand player, both players will take turns carrying out their rounds. Each round is divided into five phases, command phase, movement phase, shooting phase, charge phase, and melee phase. Players will perform these phases in order:

  • Command phase: You can deploy units on the field, and use some of the unit's abilities.
  • Movement phase: You will use the centimeter ruler to move each unit, you can make some units give up attack and use faster-accelerated movement, and you can also withdraw the units in the opponent’s melee range.
  • Shooting Phase: You can have each of your units try to shoot, and cover and terrain will greatly affect the results of the shooting.
  • Charge phase: You will order your units to charge the enemy, and only by charging can you enter the melee range of the enemy unit.
  • Melee Phase: You'll kill your enemies with melee weapons!
